How DTMF dial tones work
Every key on a phone keypad maps to a pair of frequencies — one from a low group and one from a high group. Pressing a key plays both sine waves together, and the receiving system identifies the digit from that unique combination. This generator reproduces the exact standard frequency pairs so the tones decode like a real phone.
