How to use the online dog whistle
A dog whistle works by playing a high-frequency sound that your dog hears clearly but you barely notice. Start with the Training preset around 15 kHz, press play and watch your dog’s ears and head — that reaction tells you the pitch is landing. Pair the whistle with a treat or praise so your dog links the sound to a command.
To stop barking, give a short whistle to interrupt the bark, then reward the quiet. Keep sessions brief and the volume moderate. Different dogs respond to different pitches, so slide through the range from 8 kHz up to 22 kHz to find what works for yours.
