How to tap BPM accurately
Play the song, feel the pulse, and tap the pad (or press Space) on every beat. This BPM counter averages your recent tap intervals to compute beats per minute, and the bars under the pad show how even your tapping is — when they line up, the number is trustworthy. Unlike a basic tap BPM tool, you can then press Hear This Tempo to play a metronome click at the detected BPM and verify it against the actual song.
Tapped double-time by accident? Use ÷2 / ×2 to correct it instantly. A pause of a couple of seconds starts a fresh measurement, so you can re-tap without reloading.
